About
Welcome to The Sun Tzu Way. My name is Mark Blasini. I am a thinker, writer, and Sun Tzu enthusiast.
While I'm not an academic expert on Sun Tzu (please check my recommended page to find the best resources on the life and work of Sun Tzu), I've been studying and applying the incredible wisdom found in The Art of War for over twenty years. I've used the book's principles in my relationships, personal development, career, and personal finances. And while I am far from where I ultimately want to be in life, I can honestly say I am a happier, calmer, and more confident person since seriously incorporating Sun Tzu's philosophy into my life.
The purpose of this site is to share my personal reflections on applying Sun Tzu's principles to the daily challenges and struggles we face. In a culture where success is believed to be the product of hard work, sacrifice, and pure will - blood, sweat, and tears - Sun Tzu teaches us that real success involves finding and taking the unexpected path of strategy. This is the path of the skilled warrior (shàn zhàn zhě) of life.
This site is an attempt to explore what this path looks like.
Feel free to contact me if you'd like to discuss any aspect of Sun Tzu's work or any of the posts published here. Thanks for stopping by.
